![]() The other glaring issue is that the display area for the preset title names is not properly sized and/or the scroll bar has issues when clicking the arrow to expand a category. When browsing the templates from the create new title window, the names appear in a directory style list on the left and when you single click on one of the titles, a preview is displayed on the right side. There are 2 issues here in that the preview image is not always completely over-written when you select another (differernt) title. The Title content is there when creating a "new title from template", but I don't know if it's complete.Ģ. The earlier DL of the Premiere content (the one with the exe file) actually seems to have worked for me (Win 7 64 Bit) but there are still critical issues and questions.ġ. ![]() That was also extracted and copied to "Library" under Administrator authority and now I have all the menus, buttons, styles, etc. I didn't record all the details because I was keen to move to the next step - download the big 1.7GB full content file. There were now some menu templates visible, with buttons, etc. filename.pmd loc,and removing the 'loc' made the items visible in Encore.Īnyway, after mucking around, re-downloading the installer, and trying again with no improvement, it occurred to me that programs need special/administrator permissions to write to the "Programs Files" directory, and that I'd seen references to other issues that were solved with "Run as administrator" (Encore 5.5 wouldn't write a DVD DL image without it). There were some files in the "Library" sub-directory that looked like menu items, buttons, etc, but they did not appear in Encore - I believe another thread mentions something about unusual filneame extensions, e.g. After installing the first content package (named "PremierePro_6_Content_LS7", about 740MB) there was no change. The only other menu was "Halloween" in the "Entertainement" category, All other categories were empty of all content. when I first fired it up after installation of CS6) had one menu in the "Travel" category, but no buttons. I still have no reasonable idea what adobe was thinking with the "delete the library from CS5.5 when you install the limited functional content in CS6" craziness! Just curious, as we never know when something may change with all this! When you say "all the content," are you referring to the buttons etc, or just all the menus that are included in the functional content installer? The "full library content/functional content" is not an installer, but a download and double extraction where you choose the location. In Windows 7, of course, I was always prompted (as a regular user with administrative rights) as to whether to allow the install.Īll the content has been installed and is available in Encore. I would never disagree with "running as administrator" for anything in Encore, but I did not "run as administrator" any of the times I successfully installed this. I have done this numerous times as part of testing the issues, and the basic "Install the CS6 Functional Content" includes one or more menus in each of the menu groups in the library. Publish content from AVCHD cameras to Blu-ray using the high-quality native camera format."Send to Encore" and only 2 sets had any content - one "Halloween" and one "Travel".
